Hosted by the City of Durham Parks & Recreation in partnership with El Centro Hispano, Durham Fiesta Latina transforms Durham Central Park into one of the area's most vibrant community gatherings. From noon to 4 p.m., visitors can explore authentic Latino cuisine from local food vendors, enjoy live performances from talented Latino musicians, and experience colorful folkloric dance presentations that showcase traditions from across Latin America. Every performance adds another layer to a festival built around sharing culture through music, movement, and food.
The event is designed with families in mind, making it easy to spend the entire afternoon exploring everything the festival has to offer. Children can jump into games and activities created just for them, while families can also take advantage of school supply giveaways before the new academic year begins.
