Founded in 1980, Child & Family Development is a multidisciplinary therapy practice dedicated to serving children, adolescents, young adults, and their families throughout the Charlotte region. For more than four decades, the organization has been a trusted resource for families seeking expert guidance, comprehensive evaluations, and individualized therapeutic care designed to help children reach their fullest potential.

The organization is committed to fostering progress, integrity, and collaboration while helping children overcome developmental, educational, emotional, and behavioral challenges. 

The practice offers a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic services designed to address the diverse needs of children and families. These services include comprehensive psychological diagnostic evaluations, counseling, Applied Behavior Analysis, Educational support, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy and parent-focused programs that empower families to actively support their child’s development. Child & Family Development also provides specialty programs, counseling, and intensive therapeutic interventions tailored to each child’s unique goals. 

Child & Family Development’s team of highly trained therapists and specialists work collaboratively to assess developmental needs and create individualized treatment plans for concerns such as autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, ADHD, developmental delays, language and motor difficulties, sensory processing challenges, and learning disabilities.
