Southern Tails Dog School

Southern Tails Dog School was founded with a simple goal: to help dogs and their parents understand each other and enjoy life together.

With decades of experience in dog training, we focus on positive, motivational training methods that build focus, manners, and confidence in both the dog and the handler. Our programs range from puppy socialization-confidence,  basic obedience/manners and focus to advanced training, Canine Good Citizen preparation, nose work, and even canine acting and performance training. 

What truly makes Southern Tails special is our team of passionate and experienced instructors. Each instructor brings dedication, skill, and a genuine love for helping dogs and their families succeed. We believe great trainers never stop learning, and our team is committed to continually improving their knowledge and hands-on training skills.

Training at Southern Tails is designed to be engaging, practical, and fun. We help families build real-life skills they can use every day — whether that’s walking politely on leash, greeting visitors calmly, or simply enjoying a better relationship with their dog.
