Carroll's Kitchen

Carroll’s Kitchen is a nonprofit social enterprise restaurant located in the heart of downtown Raleigh. We are proud to employ women overcoming crises such as incarceration, substance abuse, intimate partner violence, homelessness, and other significant barriers to stability.

Through our year-long workforce development program, participants earn a livable wage while receiving hands-on culinary training and working toward their stability goals. By offering our program participants wraparound services, their graduation from our program marks the achievement of stable housing, reliable transportation, mended relationships, and movement into the career of their choosing.

We are proud to share that our program graduates maintain a 0% recidivism rate, a powerful testament to the effectiveness of our model.

In addition to helping the women in our community, Carroll’s Kitchen is also proud of our culinary practices and offerings. Previously entirely grab-and-go, Carroll’s Kitchen now provides our Raleigh neighbors with locally sourced, scratch-made breakfast and lunch that you can truly taste was made with love.
